Woman's club hosts Over the Tabletop design showcase

The North Mecklenburg Woman's Club will host its annual "Over the Tabletop" design showcase fundraiser on Thursday and Friday, November 8-9, at the Peninsula Club in Cornelius.

The fourth annual design competition highlights the skills of local designers, businesses and creative people. They'll create holiday table scapes, trees, and vignettes for competition and for sale. This year's event will include a Holiday Shop of local vendors and artisans.

"Over the Tabletop" includes a Thursday night "sip and shop" preview event, and Friday's showcase, from 10am to 3pm. Details below.

Proceeds from the event will go to the ANSWER Scholarship Endowment, which helps working women with children return to school.
